The first time we set eyes on the Jones Cottage the master bedroom looked like this:
Not exactly our dream bedroom.
I've stared at that ceiling fan for months daydreaming about the day we would rip it down and replace it with something fabulous.
Well my friends, that day has come
check. it. out.
I wanted a soft and dreamy accent wall that has the essence of a Drew Jones painting. So who better to hire for that then the man himself?
A very handsome worker.
It turned out just perfect.
The execution really was a family effort:
My Dad bought us the beautiful grey quilt and pillow shams for a housewarming present.(from West Elm)
My generous sister gave us the down comforter.
My interior designer Mom helped us pick the colors and get them on the the walls (and bed...we painted the frame)!
And can't forget my Father-in-Law, the meticulous house painter who gave us a huge hand as well.
I just LOVE the mosquito netting canopy too. My mom and I "helped" Drew Jones hang those up. He really did all the work though.
We fit all 72 inches of this ginormus floor mirror in our hyundai accent.
Yes, that is me with a towel on my head.
There is much more room to show, but it isn't quite finished yet... so I will keep you posted!

That is amazing...
