38 weeks

I have this idea in my head that I will wake up one day and just know that today is the day I will go into labor.


I know. This is probably just a goofy idea I got in my head. But so far I've woken up and known that today is not yet the day, and haven't been wrong yet, sooo we'll see!


Things continue to be accomplished in preparation for baby's big arrival. I met with our pediatrician, packed my bag, packed the diaper bag, re-organized the kitchen cabinets to make room for bibs and bottles & have read lots from my stack of books about breastfeeding, labor and bringing baby home. 


Drew Jones has been busy as well.


Lately he has:


Installed the car seat.


Effectively finished writing his substitute plans for school.


Erected the pack n' play in the living room next to the couch.


Installed a new ceiling fan in the baby's room.


Put together the changing table.


Re-tiled the fireplace.
&
Hung all the artwork in the baby's room.

Speaking of the baby's room. It's so so close to being done. Drew Jones' Mom is finishing up the curtains and my sister is sending us a little rug for the floor. Once those are here we are done! I can't bring myself to take photos and share them until it is complete, so if I do have the baby before it's finished you'll just get to see photos of the room with him in it!
