Photos of our 4th

A baby makes holidays so much more fun. For me, the best part of this year's Independance Day gathering was seeing Westley meet some of his 2nd cousins for the first time. Or maybe more so seeing them meet him. It melted my heart that Drew's younger cousins were so excited to meet him. When he woke up from his nap they all gathered around him smiling and laughing, touching his soft skin and letting him squeeze their fingers. They are really sweet kids and it was such a memorable scene.

Westley also met cousins Missy, Brian and their little girl Reece. It's amazing seeing how loved he already is by his extended family.

Westley met Great Aunts and Uncles and Great Grandpa White for the first time as well. Sadly I was too swept up in the moment to remember to grab my camera, but I am sure we'll get photos of them together next time.

Here are some more photos from the day:

  4. I want to visit that barn & have a picnic. Especially if Westley is there. And you & Drew Jones, too.

    Looking mighty lovely, Lady Lee.
