Merry Christmas!
Just wanted to pop in to show you our little Christmas card and wish you a Merry Christmas!
And of course I brought a gift for you!
A free 4x6 design I made of my favorite Christmas song lyrics. They are from O Holy Night and they often bring tears to my eyes.

His law isn't anger, hostility or fire and brimstone.

Westley is 7 Months Old!
Does every mother look at their baby and think to their self, "I must have made the most adorable sweet baby ever in the entire world."?
Today we went on a chilly 2 mile jaunt around the park and halfway through my bundled up babe fell asleep and I couldn't stop staring at his angelic face. Only his button nose, flushed cheeks and rosebud lips peeked out from all the layers I swathed him in. He looked like a wintry baby cherub.
We also went shopping for Christmas presents today. Just Westley and I. Every person we came across smiled at him and said things like "What a good little shopping buddy!" and "He is so calm! Is he always like this?" To which I would say "I know! Yes he is just wondeful."
We drove home with Christmas music playing while he dozed snug in his car seat and I soaked it in because it was moment I dreamed of and hoped for. Just driving in the dark with my healthy babe and Jingle Bell Rock playing.
What I am seeing more and more in Westley is that he is a lot like his Daddy. Easygoing, sweet, more of a listener than a talker. He is looking more and more like his Daddy too. Haaaandsome.
Westley's 7 month stats:
Height - 28 inches
Weight - 19 lbs
Head - 17.5 inches
What he is doing:
He studies his toys, passing them from hand to hand and bangs them on things
He rolls and scooches around
Stands with little assistance for short periods of time
Does a funny dance where he waves his arms around and then folds his body over
Sits up on his own but still topples over after a bit
Reaching for everything and leaning towards things he wants
Eating food, only a small bit a couple times a day - still very much prefers milk
What he loves:
Anything that is not a toy: remote, empty m&m bags, water bottles, etc.
Being around people
Bathtime
When you sing to him
Scout, especially when she runs around, he gets excited and giggles
The curtains, he loves when we open them and shake them around
When he sees you for the first time after waking up, he gives big sleepy smiles
When Daddy comes home from work
What annoys him:
Getting his diaper changed
Getting his pajamas on or clothes changed
If you take something away he was really interested in
Doing the same thing for too long
