Happy Birthday Mom!

My Mom turned 50!




 For her birthday I asked her friends and family to hand write and mail a letter to me for her. At first I thought I would make a book like I did for Drew, but after I started receiving the letters in the mail I thought about how much I love opening good mail and how she probably would too. So I stacked the letters up, tied a pretty green bow around them (her favorite color is green) and wrapped them in a box. We also found a beautiful vintage letter opener on etsy (at this shop) that she opened first as a prequel to her gift. It turned out great and she just loved it. There were happy tears. One of my favorite things on earth is giving good gifts!
